1. What vouch is
vouch is a platform connecting domestic service professionals (cleaning, cooking, ironing, childcare) with families seeking these services in Guyana. vouch acts solely as an intermediary: we facilitate connections between parties, but we are not party to the working relationship, service delivery, or any agreement made between the professional and the client.
2. Disclaimer of liability
vouch does not hire, employ, supervise, or take responsibility for the quality, safety, conduct, or outcome of services provided by any professional registered on the platform. The relationship is established directly between the professional and the client. vouch does not conduct criminal background checks, verify immigration documentation, or confirm formal qualifications beyond what the professional voluntarily provides.
3. Registration and accuracy of information
By registering, the professional confirms that the information provided (name, services, experience, availability) is true. vouch does not manually verify this information before publishing the profile.
4. Consent to public data
By completing registration, the professional authorizes her name, photo (if provided), and other profile information to be publicly visible on the platform, so families can find and contact her.
5. Payment for services
Payment for domestic services rendered is agreed upon and made directly between the professional and the client, outside the vouch platform. vouch does not process, mediate, or take responsibility for these payments.
6. Platform subscription (clients)
Families who opt for paid vouch plans pay exclusively for access to platform features (advanced search, scheduling, replacement guarantee where applicable) — this does not constitute payment for the domestic service itself.
7. Cancellation and profile removal
Any professional may request removal of her profile from the platform at any time. Clients may cancel their subscription according to their plan's terms.
8. Conduct and appropriate use
Using the platform for discriminatory, fraudulent purposes, or in violation of local law is prohibited. vouch reserves the right to remove profiles or suspend accounts for violations of these terms.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
